My Training Philosophy
Reinforcement-based training
This type of training empowers your dog by offering them choices, which builds their confidence. This method encourages independent thinking, helping them understand the small steps needed to achieve more complex behaviors.
Kind and ethical, no force is needed
I love animals and couldn’t imagine using dominance, pain, fear, force, and avoidance techniques. The use of force and punishment tools is unnecessary, has been debunked, and is outdated.
Client-friendly
Every dog and situation is unique, so "cookie-cutter" classes elsewhere don't address your individual training needs. Your dog is always learning, whether from you or its environment. Training is a marathon, not a sprint. I tailor-make training for your needs at your pace.
Supportive
My explanations and reasoning are easy to follow. You will have access to written step-by-step guides to refer to after each training session.

Pet relief area
We understand that potty accidents can occur. If your older dog tends to mark their territory, we kindly ask you to bring a belly band or male wrap for them to wear while at Good Dawg Training. You can find both reusable and disposable options at most pet supply stores and online. Additionally, we have an outdoor relief area for pets located to the left of our main entrance. Thank you.
