Enrichment is important for providing mental stimulation, easing boredom, and relieving stress.
Why a puzzle exchange?
Puzzles have varied difficulty ratings. Once a puzzle has been solved, the purpose is defeated and your dog will be ready for a new, possibly more difficult, challenge. Rather than purchasing a new puzzle, exchange the one you have with one available at our facility.
How does it work?
Donate your puzzle toy at Good Dawg Training and trade it for another.

An exclusive, distraction-free experience for reactive dogs.
This is a unique and exclusive experience for reactive dogs (fear, anxiety, aggression)** to explore and learn at their own pace. This experience lowers stress levels, builds confidence, and is mentally and physically stimulating.
Whether triggered by people, dogs, or other distractions, reactive dogs are often kept at home as they are too challenging to manage. We've designed Solo Quest, a special, scheduled experience for you to explore with your dog (off-leash, on-leash, or dragging a leash) in a safe space. You will have the whole facility to yourself and a helpful trainer will be on hand to guide you. Our scheduling times ensure you have time to enter and exit without encountering other dogs in our facility.
We created a welcoming mock vet examination room, to gently help alleviate your dog's stress during vet visits. Through reinforcement training and desensitization, we aim to create more positive veterinary visits for you and your dog.
The easiest way to introduce your dog to the veterinary experience is to start without some stressors. Pop into our "vet's office" and allow your dog to sniff around. We will guide you in establishing a comforting experience in this area. Wouldn't it be great if your dog could confidently hop onto the scale? Keep these sessions short and positive, then head out to enjoy some of our other activities. This is the Premack Principle**.
Take this a step further and join our Care Courses
**The Premack Principle is a behavioral psychology theory that states that a more desirable behavior can be used to reinforce a less desirable behavior. For example, eating all your vegetables to get dessert, or a short pop-in to the vet office with your dog and then sharing a fun activity.
*** This experience should be paired with one of our fun experiences afterward.
Short, supervised, positive, and safe play sessions help young puppies develop essential socialization skills and independence, while also allowing them to burn off excess energy. Puppy parents must be present as it's an opportunity to learn about puppy behavior.
**All puppies not enrolled in Puppy Start Right must provide
proof of vaccinations to join Yappy Hour.
Supervised and safe play sessions help adolescent dogs develop essential socialization skills and independence, while also allowing them to burn off excess energy. Teen dog parents must be present as it's an opportunity to learn about dog behavior.
Socializing your new rescue (or older) dog is essential for building their confidence and establishing strong connections with you, your family, and those who visit your home.
