Care Training Courses

  This course is for owners who need help teaching their dogs to accept basic handling of any part of their dogs' body.  This assists with ear cleaning, paw cleaning, brushing, tooth cleaning, nail clipping, and administering ear and eye medication to name a few benefits. This will also assist you if you need to teach your dog to love the vet again. We also have an in-house mock-up veterinary examination room, which can be used to build confidence in your dog, without the stress of an actual examination. 

This class is available in group and private training formats.

• Class Duration -1 hour
• Class Frequency - once a week for 4 weeks
• Cost - $320  for Group Training, $480 for Private Training
• Dog Age Range - 4 months and up 
• Experience Level - Intermediate
• Prerequisite Training - Puppy Start Right or Start Right Level 1
• Vaccinations Required - Vaccinations must be up-to-date. (Please upload proof of vaccinations on your customer portal) 
• What to Bring - 6 foot-leash, flat collar or harness, lots of small high-value treats 
• How many people can attend? - 2 adults or 1 adult and a child over 12 years old.  

Basket muzzles allow dogs to enjoy treats, drink, and pant comfortably.

If you take the time to train your dog to wear a muzzle, it should be comfortable to wear

 at any time, not just in a highly stressful situation.

It's advisable to measure your dog for a basket muzzle so that you have the muzzle ready for our training session together.
